Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for the position of 'Video Content Editor' after reading an advert on 'Creative Pool'.

I believe I am suitable for this position because I am currently a freelance Video Editor using Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro and After Effects, for clients who require professional, corporate and promotional videos. I have gained experience in this field from my academic development during my time at the University of Central Lancashire studying Television Production, and in particular, the core Module 'Advanced Post Production'.

As part of my professional development; and due to the needs of various clients, I have expanded my knowledge and practical skills in Graphic Design, working on Adobe Photoshop. This has become a genuine interest and an area I would like to pursue further.

I am a highly motivated individual and passionate about working in the post-production industry. In my work I am meticulous with a good attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. I am happy to follow very specific briefs but also have the confidence and creative flair to shape my own ideas. I thrive working as part of a team and enjoy learning from my colleagues as I am always willing to further my knowledge and develop new skills.

I am currently working freelance on part-time basis, however I aspire to have a role in post-production as a full time career. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
