ABOUT
Medium: Handmade Paper Collage
Use Case: Fashion Campaigns · Editorial Sets · Product Launches · Window Displays
This project explores the use of handmade collage as a powerful narrative tool in set design. The concept centers around time and transformation, represented by layered analog textures — torn paper, vintage cassettes, clock mechanisms, and symbolic photography. A butterfly at the center of a clock anchors the composition, illustrating the metamorphosis of identity shaped by memory and time.
The collage is transformed into a full-scale printed background, used as a visual set behind a fashion model. The neutral tones of the styling allow the complexity of the backdrop to resonate — creating a dialogue between minimalism and symbolism.
This type of visual storytelling is ideal for:
Fashion editorials and presentations
Artistic lookbooks
Concept-driven advertising
Retail and gallery window displays
Through this approach, the background becomes more than decor — it’s a narrative stage that elevates both the product and the message.
