ABOUT
Approximately 15 million Canadians live beyond their means. So how do you engage a nation disinterested in thinking about their finances?
Interac, a Canadian leader in financial services, used the medium everyone can connect with, music. The Sound of Spending is a digital tool that converts spending data into a song. Using the tool, you can hear the sound of their own spending or the entire nation’s. Interac mapped millions of transactions across the past year to a soundwave, so that everyone can listen to Canada’s economic recovery since the pandemic.
