Brand approachability was built through use of light colours within the UI, a quality lacking on competitor sites that focus on heavier space/dark design themes.

The revolutionary aspect of Aegiq’s brand personality was shown through 3D abstract visuals, visually expressing scientific concepts that have not previously been captured in images and design. Storytelling was another important theme within the site, allowing us to contextualise Aegiq’s role in quantum technology as simply as possible, an area that is very specialist.

Three key stages of the story were identified and featured on the homepage, consisting of ‘Discover’, ‘Verify’ and ‘Deploy’. The design of these sections was kept relatively abstract, allowing us to represent the journey without getting bogged down in imagery that was too heavily scientific. For example, on the ‘Discover’ section an infinity symbol was chosen as the visual motif, due to the fact that quantum entanglement is usually depicted by this symbology.
