About me
To whom it may concern,
I'm a journalism graduate with a first class degree and the highest mark on my course. I also achieved the highest mark in the country for the National Union for the Training of Journalist Diploma - Newswriting section. Since graduating as a mature student (I'm now 31-years-old) I've worked for FIFA and the Premier League, producing social media and web content, adhering to strict brand guidelines. This was particularly relevant for FIFA during the 2014 World Cup, where I help to run FIFA and published social media for a global audience of around 300 million.
I've also worked as a content producer and copywriter for a clothing start-up, helping to establish the brand tone and to entertain the audience in order to encourage web traffic.
I'm scrupulous in my attention to detail and my dedication to correct English comes much to the annoyance of colleagues, friends and family alike. I spent much of my time editing our university newspaper and website, having to correct and alter copy to make sure it was suitable for mass consumption. I can guarantee that my aptitude for this job is second-to-none.
