I am a twenty-one-year old media professional with over three years experience working in film and television.
I feel that I am qualified for the advertised role of team assistant at Gemini because I have a great attention to detail, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and strong IT skills. My background in on-set live TV production has meant that I am able to keep cool under heavily pressurised conditions and have a keen awareness of the necessity to work effectively and efficiently. I also have a polite and friendly phone manner from shifts covering at reception.
I have experience in working for large media companies and small independent studios as well as a three-month internship at VBS/Virtue which focused on digital media and digital marketing, seeing me assist the running of a large, multi-platform, cross-continent marketing campaign, in conjunction with Vodafone. I also have some SEO and copywriting experience, as well as being a writer with works published in DUMMY, Convention and Sabotage Times.
I also have experience in dealing with clients, both in a friendly and business-orientated manner. I have also been placed in charge of large projects with numerous continent-wide liaisons, ensuring that product was delivered on time and to the project's technical specifications and expected quality.
I am a strong-willed, self-motivated person with outstanding industry references and would like to be considered for the role.
