About me
I am a professional Illustrator, who loves walking the dog and a bit of wild swimming. I have been drawing since I was little and my love of anything illustration means I have over 400 illustrated books in my personal library.
I have been an engineer for many years, working in water and sewage, bridges and then highway drainage and road improvement, but returned to my first love of illustration 6 years ago completing a BA (Hons) in 2017.
My years as an engineer has taught me to be more confident in myself and more business-focused, my years in other roles (pest control officer, AutoCAD technician, retail assistant, barmaid) has given me ideas for stories and illustration and so everything I have done in my working career has been recycled.
I am presently working on writing children's stories with the intention of illustrating them myself and in the meantime I am taking commissions for commercial illustration in tourism or educational literature and also book publishing.
