After the wildly successful first season, a second one was quickly greenlit. This time, the story was about the family coming together after the death of an old matriarch. The writing took place after COVID lockdown, so it was a more intimately collaborative process, which showed in the work. Season 2 proved more popular than the first, and the writing team won a Best Comedy Award at the 2022 SAFTAs.
