Romanian parents don’t use any software tools to protect their children online. To promote the Safe Kids app and to show parents how real internet dangers are, Telekom created the The Online Park. This stunt, in the largest amusement park in Bucharest, featured ‘attractions’ each mimicking different online threats – from cyberbullying and online porn to chat room predators, letting parents experience these online dangers in the real world. The stunt video went viral, reaching 88% of all parents in Romania, and dramatically increasing awareness about online safety.
