Burgundy Petal stays inside one colour family: a deep burgundy ground, leaves cut in a lighter rosewood, and a blush line tracing every edge. There is no contrast to lean on, so the drawing has to carry the design — leaves layer over ghosted leaves, arcs pass behind them, and the cloth reads as a relief carved into the surface rather than a print laid on top. Five seamless designs run from a large architectural frame through an open petal garden to a tonal dot, so the whole set can dress an occasion gown, a coat and a bedroom in a single continuous tone.
