Brocade Shadows is drawn as one continuous line: scrolls, drops and symmetrical corollas locked into a dense damask with no open ground, the way antique brocades are built. The contrast is almost cancelled — bronze on black, tone on tone, a few values apart. From a distance the cloth reads as solid black and reveals itself only up close, or when light crosses it at an angle, the way real silk brocade exists as relief before it exists as colour. A single burnt-copper drop breaks the rule, once per repeat.

Three coordinated designs: Brocade, the full damask repeat; Ombre, the corolla alone on a regular grid, alternating full and ghosted bronze; Filigree, which flips the ground to amber leather and brings the same vocabulary into full daylight. On the coat the hero sits on the face and Filigree in the lining — the collection opens only when the wearer opens it.
