Rye's work

Incorporating bold colors, props, and digital alterations - Rye seeks to find new ways of transforming commercial spaces starring people that have felt unheard, unrepresented, and looking for a safe place to project their voice. Inclusivity is a predominant element in their artwork due to a consistent lack of diversity in media. By creating spaces that teeter between fiction and reality - Rye begins to explore tearing down boundaries placed on the LGBT by every day hetero-cisnormative representation; ultimately creating a distant reality where the LGBT+ community can feel both liberated and celebrated eternally. Their work allows everyone to be seen as their own representation while illustrating a collection of true experiences.
