About me

Ryan is an ethanol-infused copywriter from Middle America who won't be writing in 3rd person.

I grew up in Iowa, got a journalism degree from Mizzou, and I'm working in Wisconsin. In the summer of 2014, I wrote as Jake from State Farm on Twitter, now I'm the Culligan Man on Facebook (among other things), so I'm worried that I've already peaked.

At Kennedy Communications, I am charged with copywriting, art direction, and production for services and products including water, hair cuts, flooring, and a chamber of commerce. My standing desk is a hub for videos, emails, catalogs, print, social content, radio, blogs, and jokes (I'm holding a positive good joke to bad joke ratio).

I prefer writing about things other than myself.
