About me

I'm a confident multi-skilled radio broadcaster, with not only presentation and producing experience, but solid technical proficiency when working with audio and online media.

I have worked for almost seven years as a Technical Producer at ABC Radio Australia, the international radio arm of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. During that time I have worked on numerous education and documentary series as well as daily talk, arts, culture and current affairs programs and specials. These programs involved complex audio editing and mixing, and also required my editorial and creative input.

In my recent work I have traveled as the sole technical producer and coordinator for successful outside broadcasts in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, The Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Samoa and Fiji. These projects required a high level of technical knowledge and planning, the ability to work to tight deadlines under intense pressure with a small team. I also produced interviews for the broadcasts and co-anchored the programs.

I feel comfortable working in high pressure, tight deadline environments where my quick problem solving skills, a level head and keen editorial judgment are highly regarded. I am also a well respected radio presenter with a passion for new music, the arts and pop culture. I have presented podcasts and worked freelance as a music consultant and DJ. I think my passion and experience would make me a perfect fit at most media organizations in the UK.
