Heineken's Shutter Ads campaign redirected OOH budgets towards the shutters on beloved bars around the world, turning the closed shutters into a new media space. Over 5,000 bars turned into a new independent media network for any Heineken owned brand. 7.5 million euros went directly to bars, with more bars are still joining in every week. Shutter Ads brought in 40% more media value than the traditional OOH, and 100% of bars in the initiative reopened.
