About Ruth
Experienced magazines editor with 25 years background in journalism. Started as a trainee reporter on the weekly Northampton Mercury & Herald newspaper, worked my way up through the ranks to become a features writer/sub-editor on the then-daily Chronicle & Echo, then becoming features editor responsible for writing, subbing and designing turn-around news features and daily feature pages every day, before moving over to magazines.
I initially edited the quarterly Looking Good magazine before becoming editor of the monthly lifestyle glossy magazine, Image, which was founded in 1905, making it one of the oldest magazines in the UK.
