Our partnership with the Rumi-Tejani Foundation was a meaningful collaboration with a clear goal: to support education for children in Asia.

Inspired by the foundation's founder, Rumina Tejani, we aimed to showcase their impactful work while staying true to Rumina's vision. Crafting their nonprofit Squarespace website, our objective was simple: to highlight the foundation's mission and ensure that Rumina's legacy lived on through every aspect of the design.

Our design ethos for the Rumi-Tejani Foundation's website is centred on authenticity and storytelling, with a focus on creating an immersive user experience. By featuring poignant images of the children benefiting from the foundation's programs, we aimed to forge a tangible connection, illustrating precisely where each donation was making a difference.

On the dedicated "girls" page, we introduced a personal dimension, incorporating handwritten quotes and individual details for each girl, like what their favourite subject is and what they want to be when they grow up, allowing visitors to forge deeper connections with the people behind the cause.

To evoke the nostalgia of a school environment, we integrated hand-drawn elements across the nonprofit website, including lined paper backgrounds and animated highlights

These bespoke touches not only added visual allure but also served as poignant reminders of the transformative power of education and empowerment.

We also interwove images and anecdotes of Rumina herself throughout the site, ensuring her remarkable legacy remained at the forefront of the foundation's narrative, inspiring and guiding visitors at every turn.

At the heart of the website lay a singular objective: to catalyze support and donations for the Rumi-Tejani Foundation's vital education initiatives.

In our approach, we integrated Donorbox into the site, and took deliberate steps to transparently illustrate how donations directly translate into tangible impacts.

For example, we highlighted that a donation of £20 could provide a school uniform for a student, offering donors a clear understanding of the tangible outcomes of their contributions.

This transparency not only fosters trust but also encourages donors to consider increasing their donation amounts, knowing the specific, meaningful difference they can make in the lives of the girls supported by the foundation.

On top of this, we provided a convenient option for users to subscribe to monthly donations, aiming to cultivate sustainable funding and empower donors to create lasting change in the lives of the supported girls.
