In an enclave central to Ireland’s cultural, architectural and diplomatic history, Glencairn Gate is a new residential development where legend comes to life. Rowdy Studio’s task was to create a brand that could capture how special this new Dublin scheme is.
BUILT TO ENDURE
From first-time buyers to down-sizers, Glencairn Gate’s residents will span every stage of life. Rowdy’s challenge was to build the brand platform around what they have in common. The positioning – Open Up to Forever Found – communicates the timeless nature of the development, and encourages potential buyers to take a different perspective on the area.
SENSING IS BELIEVING
Three principles, Generous, Graceful and Eternal, informed the brand identity. It draws on every sense to bring Glencairn Gate to life. The textures used throughout are inspired by the iron bars of the gate itself, by the stone walls and the marble within.
THE GROUNDS OF GLENCAIRN GATE
Glencairn Gate’s logo and typeface balance natural sophistication with heritage. Photography is warm and welcoming, reflecting the essence of golden hour. Iconography is brought to life playfully through motion. And the use of onomatopoeia in language alongside gentle movement in patterns brings to mind the experience of life at Glencairn Gate.
Working closely with the team at Park Developments, Rowdy brought the system together across multiple applications – from the website and on-site signage to a brand film, floorplans, homeowner manuals and brochures.
