About me

I am an award winning designer with over 12 years industry experience. I have led a number of design teams in the re-branding and redesign of numerous products and projects within social enterprises, education establishments and charities.

I have a strong understanding of both print and digital design and regularly art direct and commission photographers and illustrators to create features and campaigns with a strong tone of voice.
I work well within a team and I always strive to improve my skills and those of the team I work with. I am also confident in my ability to work autonomously to deliver exciting and innovative design solutions in high pressure situations and tight deadlines.
I have in depth knowledge of a variety of creative and design processes and strive to keep improving and learning. I have developed strong typographic and layout skills whilst working within fast paced editorial departments. I have a First Class degree in animation and bring my knowledge into producing eye catching motion graphics. I can create bespoke illustrations to fit any brief. I have taken evening courses in photography and have used those skills in previous roles to capture images for press releases.
I believe that consistency is key to maintaining the continuity of a campaign message and I have overseen a number of multi channel marketing campaigns that span both print and digital media. I have a keen eye for detail and maintain this across all platforms.
