The brief for this pitch was to create an iconic poster for the new Michael Flately’s Lord of the Dance show. I wanted to create something visually different to the typical Irish Celtic imagery that his shows and all Irish dancing shows are associated with. I wanted to create a powerful stand alone image that breaks away from this visual cliché. Playing with the characters of the story I tried to create an icon for the show, an icon that could change and work in a series. I also created the logo type. In the end we didn't win the pitch but received highly positive feedback.
