Five years ago, we set out to break the pattern of our industry where luxury products meant heavy packaging. We aimed to create beautiful, lightweight glass in pursuit of reducing carbon. Lighter glass means less energy required to melt it.
In general, independent studies show that, all else equal, for every gramme of glass reduced that means over half a gramme less carbon emissions in production.
