ABOUT
is about a small town in the far eastern reaches of Germany, and the way in which a series of visual images which were produced over sixty years ago still have the potential to impact and change thousands of lives.
The project, conceived just a few months ago, has been propelled through a snowball effect connecting like-minded people from very different creative spheres. Ernesto Leal - London gallerist and curator; architect, Matthias Hm; Dimitri Hegemann, club and record label owner; Cultural Community Officer Roswitha Flöter and Andreas Botcher - the ideas originator, have all been drawn into this unique project as it’s evolved from a small idea about town regeneration to a pan-European visual arts event.
