WhatsApp’s MyGOV bot (official India’s Government Covid Channel)

This was a simple and powerful in-product idea that helped 1.3 billion people get access to crucial information about the pandemic while fighting the spread of misinformation. This bot was a unique opportunity for a governmental organization to connect with the public in a fun and engaging way. Not all things from the government have to be boring.

The campaign was another step to show our commitment to fight misinformation.

One of the ways you can get the right information about COVID-19 is through our MyGov bot in India. This campaign is called “We’ll be together again” taking inspiration from the Erasure song and the emojis that are often used by the bot itself. We’re partnering with MyGov and running these as Click-to-WhatsApp ads on their behalf.
