ABOUT

The Orange is an animated short film that tells the story of Juliette, a young girl who has gone through all the stages towards remission from her cancer. We are honored and deeply moved to have had the opportunity to create such a meaningful story for CHU Sainte-Justine in collaboration with LG2.

We dedicated ourselves to telling this story with sensitivity, preserving the essence of innocence and the simplicity of the concept envisioned by LG2. The illustration and animation, with their minimalist style—simple details and visible pencil strokes—bring a playful and authentic touch that enhances this sense of childhood innocence.

The 3-minute format provided us with an unexplored canvas to tell Juliette's story uniquely as a short film. From participating in the ideation process with LG2 to the final edit, each team member showed dedication, even getting hands-on by coloring some illustrations themselves.

This collaboration has been a meaningful and invaluable experience for us, allowing us to convey a powerful emotion through the art of animation. Contributing to such a cause with our expertise is a true privilege. We hope this film touches you deeply.
