ABOUT

Recent advancements in 3D printing technology, such as the ability to print multiple materials in complex shapes with varying properties simultaneously and the ability to scan and accurately replicate individuals’ facial characteristics, have opened doors to producing the next generation of highly bespoke, personalized products.

Traditional swimming goggle design, based on a concept often referred to as ‘the Swedish Goggle’, has little changed since it was first developed in the 1970’s, and to this day it still remains the design of choice for the majority of swimmers. Achieving a good facial fit with this design can be difficult however, and often requires complex and repeated adjustment by the user in order to achieve a reasonable seal, often at the expense of comfort.
