ABOUT

An app design which was created for a hypothetical travel app. The app was to be used for way finding around new cities when travelling, and would be based on social media trends and tags in the local area. The name "Locale" was chosen to reflect the homey, friendly nature of the word 'Local', combined with the meaning of the word 'Locale' which is the physical whereabouts of a destination. The styling of the logo and icons was based on a simplified version of a funfair or circus ticket.
