ABOUT

What job could YOU be doing in 20 years' time? We teamed up with top sci-fi author Max Gladstone to find out...

Mobile developers, Social Media Strategists, and Growth Hackers are all jobs that didn’t exist 20 years ago, yet now, it’s hard to imagine a time without them. With the workplace ever-changing, and new methods of working being introduced all the time, it left us wondering what the future holds.

In partnership with sci-fi author Max Gladstone, we created 6 jobs of the future from Digital Archaeologist to Fabric Programmer. The jobs might be years away, but you can order these Business Card designs right now and be 20 years ahead of the game.

Here's a look at the jobs in more detail:

Cloud Cleaner – Digital handyman who deletes all your defunct, abandoned digital accounts (unused social media accounts, blogs, etc.) helping customers manage their digital identity

Digital Archaeologist – Abandoned-data miner who specializes in extracting lost corporate data and customer insights from the rapidly growing number of aging networks and servers

Fabric Programmer – Designer who manufactures custom clothing based on a customer’s digital persona using a 3D scan to create the perfect wardrobe

Home Cyberneticist – Jack (or Jill) of all trades who will help customers build interconnected super-houses safely and securely, so you'll never have to hire a cloud cleaner

Personal Reality Designer – Augmented reality designer able to customize every aspect of a customer’s life to personal specification – whether the goal is to encourage exercise, connect with friends, or climb the corporate ladder

Pirate Radio DJ – When the Internet becomes too closely monitored and people crave the simple entertainment of the past, the radio jockey will be the connection between vinyl and 2037.
