ABOUT

The brief was to create an ad to raise the profile of an innovative app that enabled social media users to donate gifts to one another. The ad had to be humorous and bring attention to the name - Giv-a. We decided to go with the most famous use of that term in existence - "frankly my dear I don't give a damn" from the film, Gone With The Wind. Here Gable's remit was to emphasise the words "give a" rather than the word "damn" which was then still regarded as risqué.
We created 5 separate ads, each ending with a different humorous punchline or action.
