This project is a shortform video edit created for Kibera Fashion Week, an annual event that redefines fashion through community, sustainability, and creativity.
The reel captures the essence of street style on the urban runway, showcasing bold fashion that speaks volumes while celebrating the energy and talent of local designers and models. My goal was to create a fast-paced, visually engaging edit tailored for Instagram Reels, blending dynamic cuts, music synchronization, and strong storytelling visuals to amplify the event’s impact online.
About Kibera Fashion Week: Founded to reimagine fashion from the ground up, the event is more than a showcase. It is a platform that empowers creatives, generates opportunities, and highlights the cultural richness of Kibera while drawing international attention to sustainable, inclusive fashion.
