After promotion to the DK Images Department, I produced new online and print designs for DK and Getty Images, which required upgrading my software skills to include Strata 3D CX 5.5 and Adobe Creative Suite 4. I specialised in re-creation of digital artwork to improve images from photos and old artwork, gaining experience with a broad range of digital images to meet a variety of presentation needs. This position called for solid knowledge of all aspects of artwork and retouching, along with a keen eye for detail and skills in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, Strata 3D and use of high-end scanners. Responsibilities included:

• Quality control to ensure images met Getty standards
• Supporting the sale of images to customers outside of DK publishing
• Converting a wide range of image types/illustrator formats to alternate formats
• Formatting Illustrator files to Photoshop or jpg format
• Carrying out interpolation in Photoshop with minimal loss of quality
• PowerPoint presentations for meetings & conferences, and for Customer Service
