Robert Pharréll Creative Director & Arts Branding Consultant

ABOUT

The American School of Milan wanted to create graduation apparel that students would genuinely want to wear, while strengthening school identity and creating a distinctive visual expression for the Class of 2026.

Execution:
I developed a contemporary oversized hoodie built around bold, large-scale typography, subtle institutional branding and premium decoration. The design combined tone-on-tone embroidery with high-impact dimensional print, creating a piece that felt closer to contemporary streetwear than conventional school leavers’ merchandise. I directed the project through artwork development, garment selection and production.

Results:
The collection was embraced by students and became part of the graduation experience itself. The finished apparel created a shared visual identity for the Class of 2026 while giving students a piece designed to remain wearable beyond graduation.
