ABOUT

This is a personal project in which I am focusing on the depiction of motion.
I find it both appealing and challenging to use photography to capture multiple, individual times, to create the illusion of motion.
I've developed a true passion for this concept in recent years, and in these photo examples, I experimented with long exposure and paper puppets.
I chose a black and white visualisation to enchant the motion of the subjects.
The puppets and sets were made by me, and the ballerinas were about 10cm tall in real life.
I've included a photo of one before the motion.
