Background
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) is the UK’s compensation fund of last resort for customers of firms authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

Brief
Refresh the design and layout of In Brief, the companion magazine to Outlook. The new design needed to be an evolution of the previous design, whilst fitting within the FSCS literature suite hierarchy.

Solution
In Brief is customer facing, so stronger use of photography and graphics in a magazine style layout, together with subtle adjustments to the grid and typography, refreshed the overall look of the pages to create an attractive and inviting read.
