About me

I am a graphic designer currently working in Manchester but looking for a new job in or around the Birmingham/West Midlands area. I have been working for just under 2 years as a graphic designer, but have been given a lot of responsibility on big projects, allowing me to mature as a designer in a short space of time.

My current job involves designing for print and for web, which includes brochures, corporate identities, stationery, banner stands, websites and HTML emails. I have experience of running design projects single handedly, where I would meet with clients, discuss their needs and then build a project, allowing them to be involved as little or as much as they desire. Once the design is signed off I will set it up for print or optimize it for the web and deliver it as promised.

I work as part of a team regularly, so am used to contributing my ideas in meetings and listening to other people's thoughts.

I use Photoshop, Illustrator, QuarkXpress and Dreamweaver every day and have a working knowledge of Flash and Indesign. I am a fast and willing learner and a dedicated worker and realise that I still have a lot to learn, but truly believe that I have a lot to offer.
