About me

Hey, I'm Ro! (He/Him) A filmmaker and editor based in London with multi-disciplinary skills and experience in the media arts.
My directorial work has been screened at Bermondsey Project Space in 2022, and BFI Film festival 2020, and my documentary 'Down There The Sea Folk Live' won the sound design award from the Royal Television Society in 2020. Recent documentary project 'Old Salt, Deep Blue.' was selected for screening as part of The Voices film program, Queer Identity, in association with BFI Film Audience Network and Film Hub London.

I am an exhibiting artist with Art in Flux London, selected as a guest speaker for their social 'Transformations' to present my sound art project 'supercomputer'. My films were featured in the immersive online VR exhibition 'Gender*uck' hosted by National Gallery X. In addition, in November 2022, selected works were screened at the Barbican Cinema for the Barbican Centre exhibition 'Radical Embodiment.'

Throughout 2022/23 I have collaborated with many artists, musicians and other directors, refining a distinct editing and filmmaking style, creating dynamic expressionist cuts, curated for my client's vision. I have a great fascination for storytelling, for sub-cultural spaces and for finding an intersection between the two, which is usually where my work is situated.
