In my final term at University, we were set a live brief by the Creative Director (David Wilson-Nunn) from BBC Studios to make a pair of books based on one of three themes. Gardeners World, Top Gear or Doctor Who. I went with Doctor Who. The books had to be aimed towards 2 different ages groups, 5-8 & 19-24. We worked on our books for just under 2 1/2 months. Once we had completed our books, we had to present them to David, explaining and breaking down the concept of our work. He appreciated my book covers so much that I was awarded a commendation letter signed by himself and BBC Studios.
