ABOUT
The ensuite design concept provided to the clients exceeded their expectations, with a space that had WOW factor and interest!
Utilising the space of the hallway linen cupboard provided extra depth to allow for the shower to be enlargened to a two person capacity and the design of the curved shower wall to hide the toilet from view without compromising on style. Even though the hallway linen cupboard space was compromised, we made sure this storage was not missed, as we also designed the laundry space to allow for better storage to relocate the linen. NB. this space is separate and not part of entry.
The design includes two sinks, large drawer space for each plus inbuilt shaving cabinet mirrors to provide the extra storage desired for all their bathroom consumables and small appliance needs. The mirrors allow for the natural light from the small window to reflect around the room creating a calming welcome.
The curve of the shower wall is also replicated in the curve of the opposite wall to the shower so that it softened the existing 45 degree angle of the wall. The introduction of the curves added wow factor, dimension to the rectangular space and versatility of the three zones – shower, vanity and toilet for two person use.
The colour scheme chosen was timeless with the warm grey floor and white walls with a pop of green marble to accent. We chose different tile formats to create texture and dimension.
