ABOUT

The main bathroom design provided our clients with a lovely, modern family bathroom which has a practical space plan for all their needs!

We created a “wet zone” in this bathroom, so the shower was an easy walk in for all users and the bath was practical for kids to be bathed easily but also for a luxurious soak. The freestanding bath sits celebratorily in front of the glass block window to create a feature and grounding presence in the space, which the client originally didn’t like the glass blocks but now has found a new love for them!

Combining these two areas in the bathroom allows all the wet tasks to be done on one side of the room with all the drainage of the water being practical and simplified and protected by the shower half tiled wall but still open visually with the top half glass. The bath is used by the grandkids when they visit but will mainly be used for the luxurious soaks after a long day by the grandparents.

The vanity is what is seen from the bathroom entry with its lovely timber grain and warm tones welcoming you into the space. With three deep drawers for storage and mounted with a deep recessed kick, keeps this space very spacious and open.

The colour scheme chosen was timeless with the warm grey floor and white walls, as well as using the floor tile in a different format as the bath feature wall to create texture and interest.
