PLASTIC- YOU CAN'T STOP ME

YEAR- 1862

Alexander Parkes to himself- “Finally, I made it.”

Plastic to itself- “Yes, you created me. But you don’t know what form I’m going to take in the future.”

Alexander - “Now, I’ll do something great to upgrade the human race.”

Plastic - “Yeah, you are in the path of upgrading. But my devastating form is still in progress which will cause nature’s degradation.HaHaHa...”

[AND THE SEEN GOT DARK….]

YEAR- 1907

Leo Baekeland - “Thanks, Alexander. Now, I have created the upgraded version of the plastic that you had made years ago.”

Plastic inside- “Hey, man thank you for awakening the sleeping monster inside me. And yeah, my grandparents are already surrounding Alexander's body. They’ll thank him.”

Leo, “I’ll make it such a way that it doesn’t take a devastating form. Otherwise, future upgraded polymers will only bring disaster.”

Plastic, “Poor Leo! Don’t know how lazy humans are. All of you will rely on me. One day I’ll control your life, business and even this nature. ”

[AND THE SEEN AGAIN GOT DARK….]

20TH- 21ST CENTURY

Plastic sitting inside the ground, near Leo’s coffin, “Hope, you are sleeping well inside forever. But, now see me. I have been designed in such a way that I can’t sleep for a long time. But can make many others sleep like you.”

Further, “Now, I’m the real nature controller. You poor humans never thought what I can do. Now, Be ready for the cold disaster.”

Humans started to find comfort in using plastic. Like Plastic surgery, Plastic bags, plastic tapes and there are unlimited products. Yes, I know we don’t have an alternative product which can be so convenient as plastic. But the earth where we are living if we don’t do anything for it, then where this human race will live? 

Let’s get back to the story…

Retailer, “Ok sir, your total bill is $117.”

Customer, “Okay! So, I’ll pay via my credit card. By the way, I didn't bring my car today. Can you add a carry bag in it?”

Retailer, “Sir, extra baggage will cost an additional charge. Plastic bag- $1, Paper bag- $2 and Cloth bag- $3.5. ”

Customer, “Umm... Do one thing... Add 2 plastic bags.”

Plastic says to the paper and cloth bag, “I knew it. You two are nature friendly, still, people don’t demand you two haha... See me, I’m strong, cheap, water-resistant and yes non-biodegradable.”

And the plastic bags were packed.

See, I know we don’t have a better alternative than plastic in today’s world. But the places from where we can stop using them, we shall at least try. Some technology, medical sectors where plastics are used can’t be replaced so easily, scientists shall work hard to build some biodegradable and best alternatives for plastic. 

Because of this many rare species of animals are about to go extinct. Street animals are dying by eating plastics. It’s sucking up the soil nutrition and also some particles we are eating every day in our food. This type of topic shall be one of the most important in the united nation. Otherwise, we are on the way to creating our own disaster.
