These spreads were designed as part of an experiment in conceptual editorial design for longform storytelling. Going beyond the principles of page layout and typographic editorial design, these designs attempt to enhance the story within by using colour treatment and layout to reflect the bleak, cold and minimalist landscapes and lonliness that are described throughout while using a pale colour swatch to represent the geographical framework of the story.
