This was a quick day project that I gave myself to create a campaign for a new Nivea skin cream with a high amount of SPF.

I thought that id focus on the SPF side of the cream as everyone likes going on holiday and normally people see a lot of the sun while there, and what does the sun do? It dries out your skin and gives you wrinkles, so the best way to combat that is by using this new skincare cream.

I thought I'd keep it fairly simple looking, almost like a '50s/60's style with a minimal colour pallet and simple shapes. In addition to the sun moving across the sky throughout all three images as shown by the shadows in each image.

I also decided to add an element of guerilla marketing to the project by having designed a sticker (which could be used anywhere), to use the sun itself to project the campaign’s message as a shadow. With the benefit being that this could be placed in shop windows, around airports, or anywhere with a glass surface to create the shadow.
