At the end of 2019 I approached Porsche in Stuttgart with regards to capturing their new production line for the all electric Porsche Taycan.
The Taycan represents 4 years of development from initial conception to production of customer cars - the pinnacle of electric car technology
In the production hall Porsche have become the first car company to adopt a robotic transport system to move the cars during the production process in a system called “flexi-line”
The cars are built on three floors from top to bottom before being transferred by conveyer bridge to the loading terminal.
Inspired by the red welding curtains, my interpretation of these shots included a graphic red border treatment.
