ABOUT
To celebrate the launch of this year’s Spring Summer collection Mulberry wanted a microsite solely focused on London Fashion Week events to run alongside their larger campaign. The theme inspiring this season is “Archetypes of Englishness”, pulling on another time to inspire a collections for the present. They took over the historic Spencer House to host a series of heritage talks and events.
Ahead of their SS’18 debut at London Fashion Week, we collaborated with Mulberry to create a microsite to house their new collection events and help build anticipation of the show. For the pre-show phase this involved creating a dynamic banner on their homepage with a video countdown to the show, as well as a “Beyond Heritage” microsite which houses all of their Fashion Week-related events that were bookable on the site. The result was a tantalising preview that simultaneously built excitement while providing an avenue for engagement during London’s Fashion Week.
On the day Mulberry live-streamed their show on this microsite, with an option to “shop the look” immediately upon viewing. Afterwards this area hosted the highlight video of the show, pointing to “The Looks” where you could buy the new season. The microsite beautifully showcases their new collection while seamlessly weaving in the story and background of their pieces.
