Spending most of the time in front of a screen can lead to a very particular way of seeing the world.
Nothing wrong with that, but it helps me to stretch my eyes by looking at things from different perspectives and especially with different tools.
Here's three Summer pieces - a painting (acrylic on board, 760 x 610mm), a mixed media piece (acrylic, pencil, ink on board, 600 x 480mm) and a collage (box of found items, 240 x 190 x 60mm) - that take the 'paintbrush', 'pencil' and 'knife' tools literally.
Really important to make time to make things that don't conform to an artboard or viewport.
