Font based on how old bicycle frame tubes were (and in some case, still are) joined together with joints called lugs. They can be plain and simple or, with manufacturers such as Hetchins, bloom into tendril-like detail. This exercise was part of a series of letter experiments - but do let me know if you'd like to use this for a project.
