ABOUT
Bonds of London, “A trusted British brand since 1895” is under the stewardship of World of Sweets* and they’ve been catching my eye for the longest time, given the number of c~stores and petrol retailers who stock them.
Given the market for sweets in this category is huge, I did wonder if the same product might find another audience if the packaging afforded them entry to a different share~of~mind.
So here’s an idea to take Bonds out of the count~line and into the world of coffee’s visual language.
The packs, based on foil pouches feature a product window (a visual rather than an aromatic preview. But maybe there’s a way of delivering sweet smells without compromising shelf life? Packaging technologists step forwards there) and presented with a refreshed identity.
It’s another self~initiated sweet sideline, be great to know what people think :)
Here’s a quick ‘before and after’ (or rather a ‘now and then...?’)
*Who look after a lot of Bands, including the iconic Pez.
