I’d started typing up some thoughts this morning as a way of kick-starting the week, and was awkwardly trying to find a way of weaving in (well, shoe-horning actually) a book I read over the weekend - because I really enjoyed it and because I think you might, if you’d not read it before. 

It’s nothing to do with how to hack your way to become a better whatever, as it was written in 1855 and nothing to do with design or whatever. 

Appreciating that even though reading actual, physical books is supposed to be right on trend, calling on you to dip into Victorian fiction versus say buying a record is making a mixtape, is a big ask. 

And The Warden, by Anthony Trollope, is a big ask. But trust me (ha!), give it a go and see how little - while seemingly so much - separates us across nearly 200 years. 

But more importantly, what spurred me to finish this little note was getting a copy of Nick Parker’s ‘On Reading’, which you should do as well. 

Nothing much else to see here, you should definitely go read a book. You'll learn so much more.
