Utilising film and digital photography, the work is produced in two parts: 1. projecting
35mm film slides, taken by Richard—featuring industrial decay, brickwork, rusting metal,
and textures—onto the human body. 2; The result is then photographed digitally. There is
no post production, no Photoshop nor Artificial Intelligence at play here. The final image is
what the camera sees once the projected image is positioned on the body and then
photographed.
