About me

Hi, I am a freelance journalist and writer whose work has featured in The Independent, iNews, Metro, Huffington Post, Prospect Magazine, Byline Times, The Fortean Times, Journo Resources, The Overtake, The Skeptical Enquirer, MAGIC, BBC Radio, Image Comics and Self Made Hero.

As well as writing articles about politics, culture and society, I make comics. I'm currently finishing off the scripting duties on Hocus Pocus, a Horrible Histories meets Breaking The Magicians code series that looks at science, psychology and the supernatural. We've been very lucky to get feedback from comic lovers, magicians and actors, including Andy Nyman and Reece Shearsmith -- somewhat of a personal triumph!

Next year my first full-length non-comic books is being released through Pen & Sword Publishing. It's a biography of the creators of the little known, cult character Batman. I'm equal parts terrified and excited.

I spent lockdown co-writing a television script which I'm currently ferrying about town. But right now, I'm on the hunt for more projects and more opportunities to collaborate with great creators.
