About me

I have always been drawn to the creative - whether academic or recreational. Advertising is an industry which reflects (and to some degree shapes) the culture and society we live in.

Throughout university I have always been interested in learning more about promotional and advertising tactics. I worked for the unviersity's alternative magazine, The Cheesegrater, assisting in organising campaigns to market the magazine around the campus.

I work well in a team environment and thrive under pressure working to deadlines. I have never been afraid to make my own decisions and tackle difficult problems off my own back.

The prospect of working in advertising is highly appealing to me.

I am convinced a career in advertising would best accommodate my creativity and initiative. It is an industry that has great scope and breadth. I believe that advancement within this industry is based principally around effort and ability.

I like the idea of working in an environment that is as expansive and animated as the world of advertising.

I keep myself well-aware of the various changes to this ever-developing industry. I am drawn to the power of advertising and the media in shaping trends and attitudes, not just selling products. There is something intriguing about the way advertising affects so many people, often indirectly.
